6. ATLAS OF THE QURAN - Dr. Shauqi Abu Khalil

This Book is like a 3-D tour to the places mentioned in the Quran and hadeeth, based on reliable sources. How many times have we read the Quran, and we come across a verse wherein Allah has taken the name of a place (e.g the city of Soddom - Lut (a.s)'s people and etc) and we wonder, where was this? Similarly how many times did we wonder on certain locations regarding battles, the places on which Allah showed his miracles? Well all of these and much more has been chalked out in this book. So now the reader who studies Quran or even reads through it, will know where did this action occur or where did this miracle happen. Thus the Atlas eliminates all the guessing and the fantasies we used to encounter when reciting the Noble Quran, and takes us to the specific place.

7. THE JINN AND HUMAN SICKNESS - Dr. Abul Mundhir khalil Ibn Ibraheem Ameen

The subject of the jinn is one which is of interest to many people. Folk stories abound, and many superstitious practices have arisen in Muslim cultures with regard to protection against the jinn. Many myths surround the ideas of the evil eye and envy, and there are many strange notions surrounding illnesses such as epilepsy and mental illness, which are often thought of as being caused by the jinn. This book cuts through all the confusion and identifies correct Islamic teachings on all these subjects. The jinn are real and they can indeed harm humans, but this book will teach you how to protect yourself in the manner taught by the Prophet (peace be upon him). Break free from fear, superstition and fairy stories, and familiarize yourself with the teachings of Islam on these important aspects of spirituality which the author presents here, drawing on the texts of the Qur'an and Sunnah and the writings of the respected scholars of Islam.

Shaikh says "I decided to make this contribution by compiling forty Prophetic narrations that highlight the virtue of this blessed city and point out certain distinct rulings concerning it, and called it The Forty Makkan Narrations. In this book, I have attempted to make a brief and lucid explanation of these forty narrations as follows:

1. Providing an introduction on the topic of the Hadeeth.

2. Explaining alien words in the Hadeeth after mentioning them (whenever needed).

3. Summarizing the general meaning of the Hadeeth.

4. Mentioning the benefits and lessons of the Hadeeth"

68. Miraculous Nature of Legislation in the Qura68. Miraculous Nature of Legislation in the Quran

Hence, when He legislates something, it must be of the highest ranks of wisdom. Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {Does He Who created not know, while He is The Subtle, The Acquainted?} [Quran 67:14]

Things become clearer when we contemplate the secular laws and systems that are too inadequate to handle human problems or cope with the needs and requirements of different times and situations. Therefore, those who establish such laws keep modifying, adding and deleting from them, because man is disposed by nature to deficiency and error. Man is also ignorant about the depths of the human soul, future developments, and the best practices and laws that suit humans at all times and places.
This is material evidence of the inability of humans to produce systems that amend their conditions and morals. It also provides unequivocal proof that the Quran is the flawless Speech of Allaah The Almighty that provides a perfect system, which can handle all people’s affairs and guide them to what is best for them in this world and the Hereafter as long as they adhere to its principles and teachings.

Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {Indeed, this Quran guides to that which is most suitable and gives good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward.} [Quran 17:9]

In general, the legislation contained in the Book of Allaah is based on three foundations:

First: Removing harm from six things (religion, soul, reason, lineage, honor and property).

Second: Realizing benefits; The Quran opens the doors to realizing benefits in all f

Third: Adherence to noble morals and sublime practices.

69. A Day in the House of the Messenger of Allaah

Most people today either exaggerate or are negligent in their love for the Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam. They exaggerate until they reach the degree of Shirk (polytheism) by supplicating him, seeking his refuge, and so on. On the other hand, we find that some people neglect the guidance of the Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, and do not take him as his role model. These few words are introduced with the aim of simplifying the biography and life of the Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, so that the ordinary people may know him better. These few pages introduce excerpts and glimpses of the attributes of the Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, and his virtues. All the attributes and virtues of the Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, are not mentioned here, but we have focused on the aspects that are absent from people’s life sufficing with two or three relevant Hadeeths (narrations) on each topic. The life of the Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, is a model for the entire Ummah (Muslim nation) and the optimal method of living.
